John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montanan accent and slips back into his usual SoCal voice. I live in Darby, MT, where a lot of this is filmed – they were filming just yesterday across from me, in a field with some horses and cattle.

I have to admit, it’s nice to see them filming

I think the show is a pretty solid story, and in that niche, Costner does his best. One thing I noticed in the first season, given my half-Native American side, is that it makes you wonder who the good guys and bad guys are – maybe both sides are good and bad.
