Plot

Jackal is an elusive killer who earns his living by striking for the highest fee

He soon meets a tough British intelligence officer who follows him on a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. “Day of the Jackal”; the novel was set in 1963 and involved an assassination attempt on the then president of France, Charles de Gaulle.

The show shifts the setting to the present day. Eddy is explosively good on this show because he’s good at everything he puts his hands on.

The MI6 agent is deeply flawed, not scary, not competent and has too much airtime

That said, the show is currently shining as one of the best on TV thanks to Eddy’s performance. The whole show could have been more engaging if we just had the Jackal in mind, but as it is; Eddy is carrying an MI6 agent whose name escapes me because it’s so forgotten.

Easy with time and I have the attention span of a goldfish

The story isn’t exactly complex, but aside from the MI6 agent, the rest of the cast is amazing. They don’t spend a lot of time on drama, the vast majority of time is spent on the jackal, which makes this show awesome.
