5 years before this show comes out. I still remember when I read the first book, I just couldn’t stop reading! It was just such an amazing story. Normally, after reading the books, I don’t watch the show that was based on it. But not this time… It was a flashback of “I couldn’t stop reading” that made me decide to give this show a try. And after watching the first 2 episodes, I can tell you.

that this streaming adaptation is amazing! And it perfectly captures the atmosphere that I remember reading the books! So I’m already looking forward to all the upcoming episodes that will be released. As I’m writing this, I’ve already learned that a second season is in the works. I imagine that each season will cover one of the books in the “Wool Trilogy.” So I’m sure that the second season will be just as good as the first! However, I hope that when it comes to the third season, the producers decide not to use the third book as a basis.

But overall, this show looks like a great success

Because, honestly, with the third book, the story ends… And I love the world of Shiloh so much that I want it to continue in parts 4, 5. In closing, I think AMC made a big mistake by not keeping this show for themselves. That they sold it to Apple in 2021 and instead focused on making content like Lucky Hank shows the ‘possibility’ of AMC’s current management. The fact that AMC, which ended up making the show anyway, is effectively controlled by the Dolan family could be a significant factor. I personally wouldn’t be surprised if the Dolan family took full control and sold AMC to Apple in another deal. There may be more in the works and agreed upon than has been publicly acknowledged at the time I’m writing this review.

I’m going to give it an 8.4/10, just shy of a 9-star IMDb score. However, if it stays true to its original story in the first season and the execution stays at its current high level, I’d definitely be open to bumping my score up to 9 stars. The new season of “Silo” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
